Giving In Green County was started in 2024. Our initial aim was to provide extra support to community members in need during the holiday season, so we created our Christmas Program in 2024. This program was designed to help families in need of toys, hygiene products, household essentials, and/or clothing for Christmas. We work to match volunteers with families in need, and these volunteers then help sponsor the family’s Amazon wish list.

After receiving such extensive support from our community, we realized that Giving In Green County could be expanded to provide other support within our community. Since our initial Christmas Program we have sponsored a Humane Society Supply Drive and a Teacher Spotlight Series, which provided classroom resources to teachers in need!

We are currently sponsoring our 2nd Annual Christmas Program and hope to continue finding give-back opportunities throughout our community to sponsor and promote!
